whats up whats up?!

Hello! Beautiful autumn with loads of sunshine until this week!:( still, finally heating is a must mornings and evenings and well I must say I do welcome the earlier evenings as boys seem to naturally want to be navigating towards their bath times and bed times....so I always get excited at the thought of a nice evening of decent relaxation but nope that still does not happen as such its generally choring and sorting out the house....

 Zac is seriously growing and developping at a rapid speed...he is very interested in everything and seems to really have a mind of his own. We had the priviledge and amazing blessing to have daddy (Jonathan) around for a lot of the summer and we had been focusing on the boys in turns and making sure that we are able to set goals, achieve goals and get the boys the attention and dicipline they need to be healthy and happy, content boys. I can certainly see how this has been fruitfull even if that also has to allow for the terrible two tantrums and the so called charming attitudes. We had visited for the first time in ages Leeds Castle last week with my very dear friend Dionne and her similar aged Blake...we had such a good day. Beautiful sunshine...nice long walk, scootering and a lot of laugh. Boys were so content and happy and I was pleased they also fell asleep almost at the same time which gave us ladies a nice coffee/tea catch up sitting down watching peacocks and black swans...oh we are so blessed to live here in Kent....! - So many amazing places to lift one's spirits up.

 I am really not a bird person (except for when it comes to cute owels....those who know me will know that I am somewhat obsessed with them) and well I wasnt to bothered to see that the AVIARY at Leeds Castle has literally gone (don;t know if it was a bomb but certainly looked as its been through some sort of war) but my son seemed to be facinated with the cheecky seagoals and swans and ducks....no fear or phobia needing to be sorted (except mine:))!

 We took a very quick decission to take the boys on a (now hard to describe what this is....like a boat but its wide and its purpose is to get you from one side to the other of a small lake) thingy on the lake....Zac seemed very unhappy as it meant he should stop straight away throwing stones into the lake and climber up on board only to go to the other end of the lake but once on it he did actually enjoyed feeding the fish and coming close to the ducks....his eyes here look very sad but they are just tired and cried out:)) He really did need a cuddle and I was only glad to be there. I love his cuddles and did I say he can give the softest and most tender kisses?!:)

 Alongside Dionne we also treated Adel to a trip to Leeds Castle. Here we stopped to see these massive leafes and the girls were fooling the little boys saying they were looking for big dinosaurs and snakes and such...boys were only too excited to look from a safe distance. The girls seemed to have a good time....and really did make me laugh how excited they were getting too.

 Yes, those of you who do FB know that my son has an obsession with scissiors and basically cuts whatever takes his fancy. He often watches me cut pizza, sausages, paper, flowers, plants, herbs....with scissiors and so he thinks he should only learn from his mummy...he has his own pair of scissors and is very good with them. I generally stay with him just in case he might cut his own ear, lip or limbs....:))) although I doubt that will happen as really he is very good and does not tolerate pain just like his mummy. On a serious note, he is massivley into scooting, cutting, painting, finding sticks, pretend fighting...and such. Definatley a boy on my hands.

 I present you Mr. Incredible!!!:) Oh and this def suits him well...I mean the name. He is so incredible. If I think back to the days when I was wondering if he would survive birth, then to the days when he was as good as gold as a baby...and his constant illnesses this year (mainly throat and ear infections), his amazing character, his gorgeous attitude, his every little tantrum....gosh I am so glad my Mr. Incredible has made it to this lovley stage (even when I hate dealing with the stage)...he is my Mr. Incredible and I love him to bits.
He is so active, so interested in his cars (he has been watching Disney Cars so much I now know exactly what is the next line), he loves cycling, scooting, dressing up, playing with his brother, loves sitting in the kitchen in his special chair and asking for shuice (juice), eat (various things he also self serves), and love his little PLEAAASE plea if he is denied something. Its funny he thinks if he says the magic word I will just do things for him and oh I do them indeedy. He also loves putting feet on the table only to hear me say, Manners....please! - and he eagerly complies and takes feet away...he also loves saying NO. unfortunatley if I say please it does not melt his heart as much as he melts mine when he says the magic word.

 Another of his heros is Buzz....although does not watch it as often as he used to...sometimes he demands wearing his outfit. What makes me laugh is that he actually thinks he is buzz. He loves watching himself in the mirror and pulling faces. He now converses rather well (that is if you can understand pigeon speech) and he does the most amuzing impersonations of Buzz. he is such a little clever pup.

One of the things I love about Zac is that he seems happy in his own environment. He often proves me wrong with regards to going out and doing outdoory things. He would happily get lost in his toy world (yes cause we do have a few toys) and seems to be ok just being. I remember with his brother I used to have to get out the door by 9am or else he would take the door down ....Zac just enjoys home that much more. Still, I take him out as much as I can because I believe its good to change activities and get the fresh air and excercise daily.
We had our Health Visitor's second follow up visit recently. She watched him for a little while and I was so happy to hear her professional opinion about Zac's development...She seemed to suggest he is a bright boy, someone who has good interpersonal skills, knows and understands a huge ammount of things and operates around his house confidently and safely. She was particularly impressed with his communication skills (grinnning mummy) and how he self served with food by pulling a chair to the right cupboard and finding a bowl for his chosen cereal. He also opened the door when she knocked and smiled and said hello, he then also walked her to the door, said and waved goodbye. For his many infections she has helped referre Zac to a ENT specialist and we now have the appointment that we hope will help investigate his reoccurent infections.
On a positive health note, both boys have been taking vitamins recommended by my nutritionist and both have not had any illnesses since. I was amazed to find out that supermarket and even health stores sell vitamins for children that contain high procentage of "not so good stuff" and was delighted that the ones from the nutricentre are 100% proper stuff with no additional hidden nasty things. So thanks to my wonderful nutritionist who has been brilliant at helping my boys. Both boys have massivley better apperitite and food intake and are coping better with activities and seem so much healthier. I would like to mention we are on the third dose and I am gona take a break then start again. I wish everyone could have a nutrutionist...they are good at what they do. they make good assessments and give brilliant advice. Well mine did and does.
We are slowly getting used to colder days...and making the most of our weekends. For my bday the boys have organised me a really nice surprise so we are all getting excited about it. I guess its strange but I want to spend my special day with my boys who are my life and my world...and I know if they are enjoying their day I WILL TOO. More on that later...for now...my little monkey is 2 and a half and I am slowly letting go of my baby boy and welcoming my preschooler. Its amazing to think that in spring he will be off to nursery each day and then its reception and school....where is time flying? but for now I am enjoying this special time....so much to get excited about so much to enjoy. Thank God for kids....thank God for Zac my little Mr. Incredible.

September?!

 Hello! we had been busy getting back into our lives in Uk since we had come from our Romanian holiday. We had many dinners in the garden and breakfasts and coffees and chillaxed some more. Sunday we went to visit London and did some great sight seeing. Here we are in Greenwich Peninsula and enjoyed the bubbles as Zac calls them. I loved the fact that he wanted to try this and showed the man in charge how wrong he was when he predicted that as he is so young will probably cry and scream and be scarred for life...:)))-  No, Zac was so excited it was just sooo good to hear people behind me saying..."look at that little boy isnt he wonderful? so courageous?" he is and he is all mine. I love showing him off like that. My boys are both sooo good with their PE activities. they have a very ballanced life, they love their gadgets Ipad, 3DS and all but they love their bikes, scooters, swimming, walks and football off course.

HEre we had taken the cable cars over the Thames and loved it. Boys were facinated with the view and all. I was so excited too I mean its not everyday you can see that view and its sooo sooo beautiful. I loved that they both were stunned too.

 Ask Zac any day if he would like to go to CYCLOPARK and he will be hopping in the car and "lets go" he says. He is soo happy there....he scoots around tries all the fireman Sam poles and would happily scoot around us cycling too.

 Two friends! I always have to smile these two are best friends they can love but fight too....I most like when Zac see's Andrei coming around he squeels and gets so excited...also Andrei is calling his name as soon as he gets anywhere near our house we can hear him as most often these days garden doors are open.

 Bit of Playdough in the garden is always so exciting...he loves loves scissors ....he has a few pairs dotted around the house.

 And what better thing to do then eat some grapes just like that....or just spread them around the garden?!

This is the newest photo!!:)) Daddy has gone a little bit overboard and got some bikes for the family. In the view of going to Cyclopark and not having to spend a lot of money on hireing bikes. I can see the logic and hope we will make good use of the equippment. It is so cool to have something to do at weekends that involves us all excercising and enjoying rides together. We might even go out further afield to make suure we do make the best of the September weather which is supposed to be brilliant.
As for Zac, he is a cheecky monkey ....most of the time a little trouble maker but I am keeping an eye on him. he gets rather agressive at times and I wonder if that is because poor boy has been ill since January with constant antibiotics. I wonder if he is experiencing a growth spurt?!  - for now Drs are finally referring him for his reoccurent infections and such...and I am hoping we are nailing it soon right on the head and he will be able to enjoy life just a little bit more. I am noticing massive improvement in his speech and each day there is a new word I hear so its surley going the right way with that. We have not yet returned to Iveta his childminder hoping that will happen in October. For now I must keep an eye on him and see if we can manage his tantums and toddler terrible twos by keeping a close eye on him. He is amazing me in the way he copies Reuben and fights Reuben and loves us all. He is full of surprises and a lot of him right now is focused on Cars, Scissors, Fireman Sam Poles, Books, activities and basically anything that involves a little risky busniess. I would like to believe he is gona be incredibly creative but something tells me he is gona be an analyst...while his brother will excell in PE and Music possibly Drama. I love to see little bits of us in them and certain family traits and characteristics makes me adore God for his incredible wisdom in creating human kind....! I am continually in awe of God for allowing us to experience parenthood and being kids all over again with our own kids while acting as responsible parents (and often not)...:))

ROMANIA 2012

Hard to believe its nearly a week we had been back from our relaxing holiday in Romania. Wont repeat myself as already said in Reuben's blog...that its been a fantastic. Zac was very ill when we left he had acute tonsilitis and was on penycilin which wasnt the best when one has to travel in hot conditions etc. Still he was a trouper and we were amazed at how well he managed the 24 hours journey. I will never forget that even he was unwell for the last 1 hour of the trip to my home in Romania and vomitted violently due to the heat and tiredness when he got into our home he was truley at home and ran straight to my mum;s arms calling her MAMA!

 The boys loved the massive garden and Zac was happy to chill with us and explore in the courtyard and garden. He most loved the pool in the garden and playing with cousin HARRY! he was our confident companion and such a livley happy chap.

 After the first night in Romania we had noticed Zac was attacked by mosquitos and he has scratched it so much his hand was virtually bleeding. We had to keep it bandaged and some antibiotics were applied.....the mosquitos had a terrible death as we were at them with all possible products.

 every time we do go home we take a long walk to the cemetary where I have many mamories (yes I know I am strange but I always been ok with visiting the grave of those I loved dearly and have passed away)...we always stop when we see the angel statues and talk about heaven and those we will most certainly see there one day..! It gives me also an opportunity to pass on my faith to my children which I hope they will treasure in years to come. I also like to just pay respect to those who have passed away and have been dear to us.....

 Tata has really been so very very good with the boys. Here one evening tata made it his task to teach the boys to make a fire. They carried the wood...set it all up and set it alight. The boys were so facinated especially Zac who LOVES FIRE! :) Lets hope this has not given them too many ideas....but I am glad they had this special time with tata.

 The pool has proven the place to be when the heat was soooooo intense we barely managed to breeth. It helped that aunty Irenke who is our immediate neighbour (as they live in the same house) had yummy icecreams at the ready.

 Aunty Rebeka's room. She has been our guardian angel, my rock and my joy through the journey home (and has given up so many of her holidays to be with us) she us in the middle holding R. Zac was pleased when he had to pose with his favourite cousins....Hannah, Rebeka (although she is an aunty (being my sister) called bebeka by him, Betty (blond girl) and Harry who is trying to yo yo while off course posing with them...

 We also lucky enough to have a thermal water spa in the town and the boys loved loved hanging out there. Here some of the other cousins have surfaced tooo for some fun....but look at the smiley Zac. He was sooo excited to be with us in the big water,

 Here comes a funny photo...all boys all cousins....Otniel, Efraim, Harry, Jonathan, Efraim (these two are Slovakian cousins) reuben, Zackie and Hanniel there was also a Sami there but he dissapeared for this very moment....but how very funny they all got on the smallest sofa!

 Always something to do at mama and tata;s house....here I was trying to look after the planst...that suffered the heat....while my son eats an icecream.

 A day in the mountins meant that Zackie could be having a baptism in the stream:)) only joking but as my brother uncle JOJO is a Baptist Pastor am sure he could have done it happily...after all the gypsys do get baptised in the river and its spectacular:)) but really they were just having fun....and R is very busy making his way into the fun area:) ...none of us adults were brave enough as the water was freeeeezing!

 Walking with daddy to collect some stones was sooo cute! I think Zac was so busy looking for the perfect stone for skimming that he could have carried a bag with him at this rate....daddy was having pocketfulls of stones and he was laso carrying them in his little hands. This picture will stay with me a long long time, he seemed ever so happy.

And the most favourite thing of all....throwing stones into the river...with the help of ever so loving and caring aunty Irenke, Hanna and Hanniel the cousins.

And finally the BIG EVENT! My mum and dad's 50th Wedding Anniversary! yes, hardly can believe that my mum and dad had such a lovley and big anniversary. It was so sopecial from the moment we got to Romania we were getting the event organised and it was a particular pleasure to enjoy a very simple but so so touching church service and a fabulous meal after...my parents made me ever so proud I can only hope that one day I will be able to look back and feel the same way....at my own 50th wedding anniversary!!! they looked so happy and content and sooo very in love.

A rare occasion we all made it to the parent;s house (not the one in the photo that is just my dad's workshop) and to our childhood home. We had made it with all our children and it was truley special. Looking at this photo I can remember one particular

Psalm. I hope and pray that God will indeed bless and keep us.

July July....were are you flying?

 Hi! I really cant believe July is nearly gone! Where is time flying?! We are all enjoying the holidays and being in Rochester means we have plenty things going on and taking part in them. Other than the usual, Fuse Festival, Cherry PIcknick (in aid of Cancer Research), and some of them cant even remeber now here we are just enjoying MEdway Mile event which culminated with lovley fireworks and watching of the Olypics Opening Ceremony in open air at Rochester Castle.

 Even at church we were doing TORCHES and it was fabulous to have a church picknick at St Margarets with lovley kids stuff and a wonderful picknick after with some lovley friends.....thats what I love about summer. Shame in England we only had about 10 sunny days this summer...but this was one I will happily remember.

Painting his own very first doggy...he had so much fun doing this. Back to do another one on Wednesday as he loved loved doing that but we had to hurry......as we were with friends....
he really is a sweetheart and I am so happy to have him! We are currently undergoing a lot of what it seems back and forth to the doctors feels as though he is always under the weather. Not sure if its teething....or just growing up or soething more than meets the eye. I certainly hope and pray he gets better....and that I see my bubble boy back in action soon as he is such a character and seem to really enjoy life.....
Soon of to Romania, so far his summer holidays have involved a lot of chillaxing at home and enjoying friends and family....! I am delighted that he is having his brother;s company and often its lovley to have them play so well together...I hope they grow up to be best friends. I hope to also potty train him this summer but I won;t push it if its not right. I will see how things go. He kind of likes sitting on the potty and toilet but does not seem to controll it yet...the wee wee situation that is. I was thinking the other evening how very interesting it will be to see my boys next year....we might even manage a real holiday somewhere where there are proper blue seas.....and golden sands. For now we are getting ready to see ROMANIA and our dearest family back there. I hope and pray we all get there safe as once there we shall have no problems....we have drs, nurses, pharmacy, dentist, and all on our doorstep and they are all very very much the kind of people and professionals ENGLAND IS MASSIVLEY LACKING in. Yes, because they would have never let Zac cope with his over 8 infections since January and would have really seen to the bottom of this problems.....as well as would have really done some proper tests rather than sending us away with calpol and neurofen and such. Yes...healthservice in Romania is 100% better and I am looking forward to being back home.

TERRIBLE TWOS AND SUCH?!

Half term has been and gone! Another week of all sorts! Its been nearly two weeks of constant celebrations...Mama has come all the way from Romania, and we had enjoyed two big and fat and exciting parties for the Diamond Jubilee of our beloved Queen Elisabeth and some lovley long sleeps, cuddles and such. This weekend we had the Dickensian Festival which we had dropped in to see for a little while, then we enjoyed Shorne Country Park on Sunday. We are so blesed we have fab places around us to go and enjoy.

 My two wonderful boys are scooting together so very well. In this photo above I recognise my dad (in Reuben) and my mum undoubtedly in Zac. Its sooo scary but so exciting...to have them so very much like my parents who I loved and miss so much...but also to see my kids for whom they are really Reuben and Zac.

 Everyone was looking at my Zac scooting around as though he was born on wheels. Yeah, I know should have had his helmet and all on but my kids never did the helmet thing and their coordination is just brilliant. I am not saying they are not accidental cause God knows we had our fair share but they seem to be better on wheels then on foot!!:))) I really must get them some helmets. Anyway, Zac was so good on his scooter that I just had to start showing off myself too and I loved it...I might get a scooter myself after all its a healthy excercise.

 Zac, gosh he is such a good footballer...I am forever hoping soon he will be spotted and picked up for England team cause he is got some kicks and also he has good juggling or whatever thats called ...he passes on the ball brilliantly...I do have two brothers that are fab at football and rather crazy for it too...but I am no Beckham myself:) I am looking for a football activity for both boys if anyone happens to know any pls contact me ASAP.

 Dickensian Festival meant some trains and generally expensive rides at both Castle and Vines Park. Here he just seen his neighbour and friend Henry Charles whom we have not seen for a while ....they really did enjoy a bit of a ride.

 Some of the activities during half term were just painting and chilling and making things. here we made a house for peppa pig out of some cardboard packadgeing.

 mama has done the best soups while here. This is carrott and cauliflower soup with potatoes too..Zac had 4 servings.

 Although he wasnt so very keen on mama at times he did enjoy a cuddle or two...! Zac still has wonderful 2 hour long naps day time and I get to nap sometimes too. I am loving his naps and hope they last as long as Reuben;s which was nearly til he was 4 and often he does have a sleep even now at mid day or when Zac naps.

We did some gardening too...we now have strawberries, tomatoes, various flowers and beans (yes R has beans) in the garden. Now while we were gardening....we found about 20 snails...and Zac loved collecting them. He also wanted to eat them...just like his brother some 3 years ago...yuk...whats wrong with my boys?! - Still, I have to say he did not eat them and got the idea they were to be sent to a better world...snail heaven as I do want to enjoy both my plants and my flowers....
I am noticing a lot of temper with Zac, he thrives when out and about and loves loves eating after a good hour or so of fun, His favourite place right now is KIDZ ZONE and I am kind of promising 1ce a week to take him there. I like the fact that we have activities that suit us and since I moved both boys to the top floor its sane again in my house. I am noticing that Reuben leads the play for Zac and although only 2 and 4 months Zac happily plays with Reuben with whatever Reuben happens to play. Today both wanted to be ninjas so I had to dress them up in toilet paper as really thats all I can afford right now:)) but really was so much fun I was slightly taken aback and now I am contemplating what other games we can do with toilet paper....I guess we could have a tracking and ballancing game too....
I hope soon Zac drops his temper and we can have some peaceful conversations. it would also help if the rain would just stop so we can enjoy some sunshine and garden play....after all its summer and really seems we only had seldom sunshine this year so far. Well I surley know what we are now praying for on a daily basis. But hey ho at least we are not ill. THANK GOD FOR OUR HEALTH and all.
