Autumn and chicken soup galore!

Hi! Phewww its September and soon by the end of the week we are gona have October which I think its start of Autumn. Days are so much shorter(gets dark so early). We are desperatley trying to forget the morning naps and move on to the once a day nap would be nice if we could manage that well. Zac is very much enjoying his mobility....loves the school trips in the morning...seeing everyone buzzing then comming back to things to do around here, We had a busy week each day we had been doing something...then napping at lunch time and waking in time to greet Reuben then playing some more. Zac loves the leaves and enjoys terribly walking crunching them. He loves his puppy and his buggy with baby, his scuttle bug (little trike thing) and well his chicken soup. he has strange ways with food....he loves snacking another thing I must try and tackle. Otherwise he is well and happy....some tantrums tell me we might be heading to terrible two stage....he does seem to be stagnating at the moment on the speach front but I am not concerned...I know he can say loads....as he was teething (4 eye teeth now all out) he had a lot his dummy in his mouth...which we also trying to limit to only sleep nap time.
They love photos! Reuben has been soooo good and so kind to Zacky who is a nightmere sometimes.....here they are trying to enjoy the buggy together....sorry did not know how to make it the right way up!

Our beloved aunty Ellie sent us these yumm home made little pasta things for chicken soup Zac just loves loves chicken soup. Just as well as the winter will be long and cold and I think it will be cool enjoying the soups.....I myself love soup! Tomato soup on the menu next and if it has to it will have pasta (noodles) in it....ENJOY MY SUNSHINE!

seasideing

Weekends are mummy and daddy time and we had all headed out in the sunshine one more time to the sea side. I miss so much the seaside....so was lovely to see kids so happy. I think both Reuben and Zac seem to be just happy running around exploring finding things....here we made a nice dome....he loved pushing his car up and down it.Was handy that our favourite beach is so close to trains more trains....certainly Zac seems to take after his brother with his likeing of trains....just watch how he is folliwing trains running around.the joy of wellies!! I never had wellies I think when a child and until came to UK. I had for years resisted them as back home we only use them when doing garden work and very very rarely. My beste ever investment while in UK I think I wore no other shoes as much as wellies last year....after all going to kids places parks in rain (and well lets say there is loads of rain here) just keeps feet nice and snug. As for Zac he loves them come rain come sunshine....but mostly he loves daring the sea without having to feel it....cold and wet.Daddy time....serious architectural secrets are being shared....:) not sure Zac agrees or is gona try the structural part...:))) right what else is there to do here says a bored Zac (not really he was cought while he actually moved away but he loves his daddy and brother building project.

missing ruen!!!:)) (Reuben)

Lonley so lonley I have no body I'm on my own!!!!:(((( Well its been a hard week for us all. Zac has somehow came up with tonsilitis and then perked up but found Reuben's departure to big school very very upsetting. IT was strange. It was finally time for me and him time yet he was madly looking for his brother. Every time the door bell rang or we headed out he called for his brother....also every toy seemed to remind him of his Reuen as he calls him. So its been baby time...but with a lot of these sadish faces! Finally was time to do something about being lonley and we decided to visit aunty Iveta who had Alfie with her and Zac loves Alfie lots and so he enjoyed seeing his friend (his brother;s friend really) and here they were having a snack. I did not think of taking food as we only gone for 1 hour to get him used to going to Iveta's so we shared some of Alfie;s food....he was very willing to share....especially when it came to little cheeky Zackie. Now that Reuben is at school we had started a rigorous evening routine that includes reading a little before bedtime. Granny often eats with us in the evening and she loves reading books with the boys. AND Oh THE BOYS LOVE IT too:)) Its a pleasure having granny at bed time routine. She has a lot of patience and often able to dialogue with boys....while mummy quickly rushes around house to tidy up and put away the noisy stuff...:))
Loves loves copying his brother! the trouble is many things are kind a dangerous like sitting on a worktop close to things like cooker, taoster, kattle and knifes. Still how cheeky boys found the merringues and well...there was no breakfast that day!!We had been enjoying a bit more of our courtyard which is big and very spatious. Some of our neighbours don;t really like this but I think its good for us....and we often see our neighbours and chat to them which is also good. I always thought it was important for my children to know their neighbours and friends and family.Zac has been very moddy and emotional this week...I am noticing very strong will and very much work needs to be done in embracing feelings and expressing them correctly. He is very loud and dramatic just like his brother but very attentive to detail something that comes NO DOUBT from daddy. He also seems to take time to warm to people (also daddy) and seems to need to make the first step and gets annoyed if people approach him with baby like ways...:)))
He is very independent...a bit too much....often tries to eat all by himself and even get bread out and such....sometimes very annoying....he can explain pretty much everything he wants and even applauds himself when I miss the occasion to praise him for something:)))
We are going to try and spend some time together and focus on each other at home then also will go to some group activities and hopefully will be with aunty Ivetta one morning a week to start with...possibly two. Hope to see Kelli whom we have not seen for a long long time.

something fun....Zackie the eating machine....MEMEMEMEMEME

I just had to post this little post of my "eating machine" he surprises me....every time anyone at the kitchen table or has anything remotely looking like food my son just demands it by saying MEMEMEMEMEMEME until they do give in and how could they not. Last night made stake, vegetables and yummy pepercorn sauce. I did not imagine he could eat anymore yet he ate and ate and ate....I seriously worried he might choke...but nope after half hour of chewing yes he has eaten loads of steak...and slept soundly.....:))))
