home again after a blissful holiday

Oh where shall we begin? Had have an amazing time back in Romania. Boys and especially Zac has travelled rather well considering we had a long day left house at 7ish and got to Romania at probably 10ish Uk time. It was a lot of stress on my behalf but what I did not expect was that I was gona walk into a baking avon....yes the weather was 40 degrees and hot hot hot most of the time. Boys loved it and enjoyed the spatious house of my parents and the cousins attention. At his brother's 4th Birthday Zac was amazingly cheery and happy. We had a wonderful evening garden party time and he was all smiles.in the heat what else coud we do but jump in the wonderful water at least 10 times a day....each time we got out we would notice the swimsuits drying almost instantly....so was time to get back. Zac has been very weary of water and the pool but I have to say he ended up coming away so brave and confident in the water....THANKS GOD...we are now all happy fish in the water.Special moment with Harry Boros my brother Misi's son. They bonded instantly....and so did Reuben. I often say Reuben takes after him in being so very active and cheecky.Happy face.....Romania does him good. So pleased we had a lot of these grins.Another person he specially bonded with was TATA he went for walks every morning with tata and whenever he wanted attention he would run up to TATA...calling out to him....TATA's heart was melting ....! So was mine. One special lady Zac missed was granny Smith....so when we spoke to her 2-3 times he insisted on listening to granny too. He is very expresive and although late at walking and talking he really can make himself understood. Thanks God for the huge garden.....grass, trees and shade...this was taken early am as you probably can see they are still in PJs (R would have probably already had a swim).Scuze the washing....! Zac and Reuben played a lot with Hanniel who is my brother Joseph's son and he is the oldest of the cousins. He is so patient and amazing character. Both of my boys but Zac especially has taken to his cousins. In every respectable house lays a piano...and this is our (my brother and his family's piano) I love to hear my lovley family play music....they are all talented. Zac was very interested and so was Reuben. I hope my boys too will develop in music well.My family home! I grew up in this house and I love my home so much. My room used to be next to the door that has the roofing above it. Now its my brother's office/library. THe door is not in use as they use the gate.....the entry is on the other side into the house. The house now is split between my parents and my brother and each of them have a good ammount of space. they both have rooms upstairs too. We were in the self contained flat above my parent's half of the house....was nice overlooking the garden. I felt amazing home....even its gone through many changes its still the same smell the same feeling.....my boys were very happy toooo so much ito see and explore in the 12 spatious rooms and 7 en suits/bathrooms. I am happy to know my parents are in a good place sharing with my brother and his lovley family....
Also that my younger sister is there tooo keeping them all in good spirits. However she is soon off to University....but before that she will be spending some time here with us....HOORAAAAY!
So for now back home.....boys over excited to find their things and toys I have to say the last two days they had not left the house .....so we were able to do a lot around the house and garden. As its holiday over here we are looking forward to lots of fun and summer activities.

June!

MOre and more of a pickle thats my son Zackie!! he has learnt to say NO, Yes, ta for thank you, and I am sure more than that but its too late and I don;t remember...he has nearly all his teeth and is a munch muncher like his brother was. He loves the fridge and always there to get things out. Seems to love pasta tooo but noticed he does not accept any more pieureed stuff.

Trikes kindgom at Hop Farm where we visited last week. He has got close to HAy and has enjoyed many many rides in all sorts of things....poneys and trains....

Enjoying the view from above! Wasnt sure weather to let him go but I did...he was good on his first few rounds but on his last he fell over and laid there until it stopped. he wasn;t crying or anything just I suppose staying safe.

After exploring dino world with Reuben he got to ride this thing.....it was very bouncy and enjoyable to him...and have me 5 mins to catch my breath!!

On the possibly hottest day of the months June we had gone to LEGOLAND where we enjoyed a nice cool boat trip and loads more fun things. Boys were excited and enjoyed it especially as we had with us Elena and NIcholas and Andrei (and Alex) so all in all it was fun

Poor Zac was melting....it was so hot I felt my pants have melted into my skin...sorry don;t know how else to say it. Anyway, Zac had information overload...he was just so buzzed he would not rest....wanted to climb, try, eat and drink everything.....

the welcome to Legoland was this family. It took over 50 million lego pieces to build this Legoland. I thought it was so much more than we could take in but was worth a visit. like I said in Reuben's blog it was rather frustrating the rides were short and the queques were long.....we were baking. Still I have to say Zac was a trouper who not only was enjoying things he had really really looked like he was taking it all in. Zac has been better and better at sleeping sometimes letting us have a lie in....well most times for me less for daddy. He has succesfully got to the stage where he can have a nap am or leave it out but have a longer nap pm. Aunty kelli still comes to take boys out at least two times a week for 3-4 hours and aunty Ivetta has normally boys Monday am and or Friday am. Seems they do like it if they do get out the house.....and they love going places....so hopefully the trip we are taking soon 13th July to Romania will be bearable....and that they will be happy there.

who are you?!

Among all the rain we had recently some sunny spells meant we dashed out to enjoy the sunny spells:) here is a rare moment when mummy went with the flow and became a child again...it was very nice...my boys are my treasure and I am forever thankful to God for them. Zac in particular makes me especially thankful he wasnt meant to be here....if I would have given into my fears and anxieties and agreed the verdict of drs to terminate the pregnancy I would have never known a lof of amazing things that this child has brought in our lives. He seems to have developped a personality and a definate temper!! Have we enetered tantrums stage?! I think we have. So hopefully not for long...as I am missing my content happy baby.

Mr Independence and all smiles....ever so excited to be walking baby in his pram. He loves his walking and enjoying the gentle strolls except we are one step foward two steps backwards.

Aunty Ellie was here and we enjoyed her visit so much. Zac was very unsure about aunty Ellie but I think that was because aunty Ellie and me are so similar and we also spoke quickly and in hungarian which must have confused him a little. It was reassuring he wanted me and that was sweet. I have to mention here my lovley KELLI she is my most lovley babysitter. I love Kelli as I see how much my kids love her and how much she loves us all. I am so blessed with Kelli and to us she is like a family member...! thank you Kelli so much for all you do for us. I pray that God will bless you especially as you give a lot of love and attention to us all.

fathers day this year has cought is a little unprepared but I am most thankful for my amazing husband who is always so caring loving and understanding. He has not been very well, he has been also through a lot with his work yet he finds time and dedeicates all free time to his boys. Since Zac was born I was spoilt rotten by not having to get out the bed in the mornings and at night time, he has been doing night feeds and early mornings til I surface at 7:30-8am. Sometimes he woke at 5-6am and then went to work then home and took over the boys. My husband must be a hero I just don;t know how he does it? I am aware I am not doing myslef any favours by saying he is the hero in our family but this is where my job seems small and where his praise is due. I admire my husband the way he loves and cares for his boys. He always is ready to help he happily gets out the bed and checks on them ....he happily sleeps in their bed (well mean Reubens) and is always always taking them out and making their time special. I hope the kids will always appreciate their sacrificial dad the man that indeed is not only an invisible hard working dad but a compassionate, dedicated, home loving, playful, cheerful, understanding, cuddly and happy daddy. On fathers day we treated daddy to some nice lunch at one of our favourite places Cathedral tea Rooms and then had walked around admiring the Castle grounds with all the funny things that were set up for the FUSE FESTIVAL. We are living in such a good location only walking distance from England's second oldest cathedral and one of the oldest castles, on a beautiful set riverside, with two parks to choose from and nice shops and treats....

summertime....

Hi! What a joy we have aunty Ellie here for a week all to oursleves. She decided to spend her 1 week holiday with us. She has been a breath of fresh air and really all I needed. She has not only given up time, money and such but brought us loads of sunshine....THANK YOU SISTER!

One day of baking ...too much raining meant that we had to find things to do...they had so much fun and Zac loved loved the pin....

No comment but is he not a little cook?

popcorn earing with Mr, Octopus on the floor in the kitchen:)))

Busy fighting over the popcorn:) this little pickle is so knowing what he wants...unbelievable.

Zac has really started to enjoy places like Monkey Bizz and Tiny Town. We love seeing him take off and experimenting with things. He has been so amazing really good and so much of a different experience all together...in every way he is just lovely to watch grown and develop....I can see things every day...he is completley and utterly beautiful my amazing boy.

Two brothers share the love for THOMAS.

After a day out Macdonalds is in order wearing Alfie Booker's lovley hoodie top..... We have been so blessed to inherit some lovley things from Reuben;s best mate Alfie Booker.. Thanks Alfie.

no longer a baby?!

Hi! We had recently been to Wingham Wildlife Centre and had a fabulous time. We had felt really relaxed and soo happy there. I am pleased that both of my boys love animals and have been geniuinly enjoying learning about them. Zac seems to really get extatic when he can boss around animals...like this poor goat....only when he gets up and makes a point of asking me to push him in his puschair do I realise I have a tolder boy....no longer a baby although he will be for me.

Up the stairs:)) we go!! Yes! He does definatley make anywhere now he wants...and is allowed to. He surprises me with his willingness and also determination to get to where he wants to.

This was way to exciting...he was really loving the bunny rabbits:)

We got to the shop and he was cuddling the two panda's! HE got out the puschair and got them. HE was making me feel guilty as I really did not buy them to him....was just too much and he has loads of cuddly toys he keeps cuddling them. All new to me as R only just got interested in cuddlies....!

Ah, Tata is mentioned on a daily basis R and Z love love their sandpit...

Zac insisting on mixing my coffeee...! I can not but thank God for this child. I love love the way he is so laid back how he relaxes totally when home and when given the chance. He loves spending time with his brother and now they can as he is around most days (except Friday). He even started playing the big boy toys like Bakugans and Ben 10. I love the most his routine. Although at times frustrating....Zac sleeps 9-11am sometimes although most often up for 10:30 and goes down again just after 1pm -3pmish. He seems to need his naps and I am not gona force him into one nap a day. He has not been himself latley but I have to say he has been soldiering through teething and manic older brother activities. He seems to have hay fever of which it seems we all are suffering....also he seems to have gone of a lot of his food...still he is a delight. He can show me so far where the light is (up) and says "Light", he likes his belly and stroking it and points at it if asked. He can say: "look" and shows us something, dog (and barks), duck (quacks), mama, dadda, buben, nanny....and recognises a whole load of words. He especially likes when I say sometimes "where is Kelli?" - he gets all excited and looks for Kelli...(that is lovely Kelli who helps with the boys occasionally). He is very very independent although the last few days he did take a step back from walking and seems a bit less stable on the feet but it could be just cause he is teething. Well we just had a long bank holiday weekend, we also had a half term week...., we are surviving yetr another Dickensian Festival this weekend....plenty to do and see....especially loving the car rides at the Castle Grounds (there is a fair there).

WALKING WALKING WALKING IS SOOO MUCH FUN...

If someone would have said to be 10 years ago this would be my life I would have LOLed hard and never ever ever ever believed them! Still no one said anything I AM on a very UNKNOWN territory however I am loving it most days and some days I am totally crazed by it all but here this is what keeps me going. Two (three) amazing boys!

Mr INDEPENDENCE HERE WE COME! 15th months we marked it by walking properly. He has taken few steps about a months ago and now he walks....still wants us to hold hands but he knows where he wants to go. generally out the door at first hours of day and then to the car to do some driving:)) Its sooo scary to think safety gates can come off and a different stage is taking place.

Oh how can I not love this photo? We took a trip to Bodium Castle recently where the first photo has been taken too. As he is now older and behaves slightly better we are always looking at days out weather allowing. He loved being there and I loved showing him fish and ruins of castle and such...he was very good at climbing (just like his bro) and has comfortably set on the rocks.

Some mornings he likes to go in the garden and he seems to have such fun with snails....he waits until they show then he makes a noise that frightens them then laughs as they hide back into their shell. He even tried eating them...:)) oh no...again like his older brother. I can see loads of resemblences...however he seems most times a bit more chilled ...but now he is on the move don;t think eh will be ....

Another one of his favourite things is playing with the trains...he has a motorised Thomas which seems to happily move around this table and he loves loves when we link the trains up and let them goo....pushing into each other he walks around the table ...not loosing sight of them.

Nothing is better than broter Reuben's bed. Each evening he loves being on that bed bouncing around and off course reading his books. He loves loves loves chilling on there....

the other day Emily came for a little play date...only Emily cant play literally so for now she was enjoying my lovley living room:)) and Zac was copying being a baby which I thought was sweet. He feels most comfortable at home but loves going out too. he can wave bye bye, can say this, that, and show me what he needs and wants. he can say dog and make the sound for a dog and loves animals in general. He is very much into both BABY Einstein DVDs and Praise BABY dvds.

on Wednesdays boys are at home with mummy for the day and we try and do Messy Play or go to Leeds Castle...or one of the close bye places. He really does love being home so I am soon taking him out the nursery for an extra 2 days. Should be good fun and I am looking forward to it although I value my freedom a lot these days.

EASTER SUNDAY

Easter Sunday! Will never forget this one the reason being my beautiful Zacariah Jesse Smith was finally baptised and it was a truley special occasion with family and friends and the congregation of St Margaret's COE in Rochester. After the service Zac enjoyed meeting people and has been so happy:)

It was hard to take photos while people were leaving but here are a few of the family who made it. Sadly family from Romania has not come but Jonathan;s family has been represented really well. Jonathan;s sister Helen her hubby Andrew and kids Simon, Peter and Anna (cousins of Zac) and also J's step sister Suzanne and husband Stuart with their son Matt (who is also R's Godfather) as well as J's mum (Zac's granny) and us off course ...what a lovely lovley occasion on a sunny and very warm day in April.

Zac wasnt to keen on photos but here jusy before he escaped a picture with the Gilbournes his Godparents and their two Lotty and Edward. (Godparents are called Jim and Hester)

It was so nice to be able to have sucha relaxed and formal yet very informal Baptism...we greeted people and enjoyed playing in the kids corner.

During the Christening...my sunshine and angel Zac...he was very facinated by the candles.

A very touching moment when all kids in church came to see the christening/baptism. I loved seeing so many children being so interested in Zac's Baptism. We were delighted to see such interest and such support.

Another of the Godparents who left before we managed pictures LOVELY CHERYL who also is Reuben's Godmother. She has been a rock and a real friend to me since in Rochester. I am so pleased she accepted to be a Godmother. THanks Cheryl we love you loads.

Not sure how to describe the morning other than to say I really felt blessed and touched and as Zac;s story was read out in a few lines I could not but be thankful to God for this amazing perfect gift he has landed on us. Considering he was predicted to be suffering of at least 3 abnormalities, that I was offered an abortion at 6 months, the many meetings and tests, scans, neunatal specialists, fetal medicin experts and such.....seemed such a prolonged and very frustrating pregnancy but we knew no matter what God has promised us PERFECT GIFTS and so far he has not let us down....unlike us...! Although we would have accepted Zac into our lives with all the "human inperfections" predicted by so many specialists....knowing he will be ours from God and what comes from him is perfect for us....WHAT A THRILL AND WHAT A HUMBLING EXPERIENCE TO HOLD INTO OUR ARMS A PERFECTLY PERFECT BABY. Zac has been the experience one should have when they become parents. He very rarely cries and is upset he shows emotion but not at all a difficult baby. He seems to be happy and very very in love with his family. He ha sbrought us imense joy, peace and a lot of laughter. I AM TRULEY THANKFUL TO GOD and remain forever humbled by his amazing love to us. We pray and hope Zac will grow up to be just like the prophet Zacariah a real optimist, supporter and comforter in time of need in time of desperation. We also hope that although baptised as a child he will make his own grown up confirmation of his faith and will always stand as a testimony of GOD@S AMAZING LOVE.
